Case Study: Family Housing Resources

Financial freedom through housing support & education

Family Housing Resources, Inc. (FHR) was established by the Industrial Development Authority of Pima County in 1991 as a statewide organization dedicated to providing low- and moderate-income families an opportunity to obtain quality, affordable housing.

FHR has assisted nearly 12,000 individuals and families during the last 27 years in achieving the American Dream: homeownership.

In 2019, FHR expanded to include pathways to increased wealth and financial freedom through housing support, education and strategic partnerships. FHR began offering access to student loan debt reduction services. FHR is committed to serving community needs in the most effective and productive ways possible.

Additionally, Family Housing Resources, Inc., established the FHR Cares Community Investment Fund as a charitable organization. They needed to include the grant giving and details of the charity on the new FHR website.

BRANDING/IDENTITY PACKAGE

Logo Design

The client had an outdated logo from the 1990s. They were in a difficult position, with being ready to redesign their website, but not wanting to move forward with an extremely old logo.

Single Focus Web to the rescue! We offered the client a logo/branding package that included a redesign of the FHR logo and creating a visual identity for all of FHR’s programs and services.

The clients charity giving fund, FHR Cares, also needed a refresh. They wanted the logo of the community investment fund to visual fit within the new FHR brand.

Overall, it was a successful branding project with minimal revisions, and complete client input. Their new brand is ready to grow with their upcoming goals.

Brand Guide

With several new program changes and a new debt recovery program, the client needed a visual identity for each program.

Single Focus Web’s solution was a series of custom icons for the various programs. These fit into the brand guide which included new color palette and custom fonts.

These additions elevated FHR’s brand to a new level of sophistication.

Working with Cecily and Jessica was great, they are both a wonderful combination of knowledgeable and kind. They took all of our small ideas and comments and turned them into a wonderful new website that is exactly what we were hoping for but never really articulated!
