Cecily and Single Focus Web came to us highly recommended...and our expectations were high. She rose so far above those high expectations! Cecily is truly an expert in web design. And with that, she brings this incredible focus, organization, and wonderful energy. She made our redesign go so smoothly...she kept us on schedule ( not an easy task!), and offered creative solutions to issues as they appeared. We love our new site, and she continues to offer her keen eye and expertise. She is remarkably responsive, innovative, open to new ideas - a joy!

Safe Affordable Living in Tucson

In the early stages of the nationwide recession that began in 2007, thousands of homes in Tucson were being foreclosed and sat vacant and abandoned for an extended period. SALT was created as an affordable housing focused land bank so that these distressed properties could be acquired, developed and held for more productive use or resale.  These homes could be made available to Tucson families impacted by the economic downturn.

Since its inception, SALT has evaluated well over 1,000 properties, acquiring and rehabilitating over 120 homes for its affordable rental portfolio. Further, approximately 60 homes and lots were acquired, rehabilitated and sold with an additional 360 properties added to its land bank.

Today, SALT continues its mission to serve low to moderate income households with safe, decent, energy efficient affordable Homes.

Homes and dreams are being built

In 1980, Habitat for Humanity Tucson was founded, the first affiliate in the Southwest. Their slogan back then was “People Helping People.” The Founders hoped that building strong and stable homes would establish strong and stable neighborhoods, that thriving neighborhoods would be the cornerstone of thriving communities. They were right.

Over the next several decades, Habitat built hundreds of houses in Corazon del Pueblo, Marana, Amado, Plumer, Desert Vista, Copper Vista, Minton Court, and more. The HabiStore opened its doors in 2006, and has saved over 5,300 tons from the landfill – that’s the equivalent of more than 1,700 dumpsters full of waste!

They have worked with more than a dozen thriving neighborhoods and communities. Tens of thousands of volunteers and community leaders joined hands and hammers to ensure, for generations, that there’s no place like home!

Brand Guide

With several new program changes and a new debt recovery program, the client needed a visual identity for each program.

Single Focus Web’s solution was a series of custom icons for the various programs. These fit into the brand guide which included new color palette and custom fonts.

These additions elevated FHR’s brand to a new level of sophistication.

Working with Cecily and Jessica was great, they are both a wonderful combination of knowledgeable and kind. They took all of our small ideas and comments and turned them into a wonderful new website that is exactly what we were hoping for but never really articulated!

Old Pueblo Community Services began in 1996, with one home and a mission to provide safe and affordable housing for persons leaving prison homeless.

Today OPCS provides safe affordable housing options to approximately 400 persons every day. They employ a team of approximately 80 staff who assist approximately 2,000 persons per year, with over 500 moving into permanent housing each year.
